Milling

Milling and paving are essential for the care and maintenance of your property.

Asphalt milling is an economical way to patch problem areas of your pavement and leave the rest intact. This patching process prevents the need for complete demolition, saving you downtime and money. Milling and paving give you the opportunity to contain the damage and prevent further deterioration.

When it’s time to repave your property, your existing asphalt is milled up and paved back. The scope and depth of your milling project are determined by the conditions on your site. If it’s a surface mill and pave, the top two inches of pavement are removed and replaced. If a subbase repair is needed, an additional four to six inches may be milled.

At Tibbs Paving, we provide a turnkey milling and paving solution, keeping your project on time and on budget. We lay it out, block it off, mill it up, pave it back and open the lot back up after it is restriped. Our outstanding production crews leave your jobsite looking great.

Our high-production milling equipment allows you to get back to business as quickly as possible. While milling is less extensive than full excavation, it is a major operation. Our 120 and 210 milling machines are the size of tractor trailers. As they grind up the asphalt, they shoot its contents up, into dump trucks. The milled asphalt material can then be carted away and recycled.

Milling and paving are essential for the care and maintenance of your paved assets. We handle every aspect of it for you. Our crews provide proactive communication from the job site so you can eliminate the guesswork. We keep you updated on the progress of your job so you can focus on other important issues.

At Tibbs Paving, we have the staff, equipment and knowledge to help you extend the life of your pavement and reduce long-term costs.
